
KUNAK: The search for a design consultant is underway as part of efforts to upgrade the gravel stretch of Jalan Kadazan Mostyn to asphalt.
Deputy Chief Minister cum State Works Minister Datuk Shahelmey Yahya said project implementation is expected by mid-2026 under the 13th Malaysia Plan (RMK13).
He told the Daily Express this in response to the latest updates on the long-awaited road project.

The road links key areas including Kampung Mostyn Lama, Kampung Sri Bahagia, SK Mostyn, and the Sabah Electricity PMU building, and is crucial for local travel, especially during wet weather.
