MANILA, Philippines — Philippine representative Asia Rose Simpson has advanced to the Top 12 of Miss World 2026 after placing in the Top 2 of the Asia and Oceania group alongside Vietnam’s representative, Lê Nguyễn Bảo Ngọc.
Simpson’s latest milestone follows her Head-to-Head Challenge victory, where she was crowned the Asia and Oceania champion, earning an automatic berth in the Top 20.
For her evening gown, Simpson wore a striking pink-and-silver creation by Filipino designer Ryan Ablaza Uson. It is inspired by the lotus, a symbol of beauty, purity, resilience and grace in Vietnam.
With her Top 12 finish, Simpson remains in contention to become the Philippines’ second Miss World winner, following Megan Young’s historic victory in 2013.
