SHAH ALAM - Perikatan Nasional (PN) secured a landslide victory in the Paroi state seat in the 16th Negeri Sembilan state election, with its candidate Kamarol Ridzuan, winning by a commanding majority of 16,959 votes.

According to the official results, Kamarol garnered 32,004 votes, comfortably defeating Pakatan Harapan's (PH) Ahmad Shahir Mohd Shah, who received 15,045 votes, and Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia's (Bersatu) Nazree Yunus, who polled 2,205 votes.

The victory marks one of the biggest wins recorded in the state election, strengthening PN's presence in Negeri Sembilan and underscoring the coalition's strong support in the constituency.

The Election Commission (EC) announced the results following the close of polling today. A total of three candidates contested the seat.
