
JEMPOL - Perikatan Nasional (PN) has clinched a convincing victory in the Serting state seat in the Negeri Sembilan state election, winning by a majority of 12,115 votes.
PN candidate Ustaz Fairuz Isa polled 16,608 votes to comfortably defeat Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate Yaacob Mahmood, who secured 4,493 votes.
Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) candidate Affendy Salleh finished third with 736 votes.
The landslide result underscores PN's dominance in the constituency, delivering one of the widest victory margins recorded in the election.
