Kota Kinabalu: Penampang Preppies Swimming Club (PPSC) as hosts successfully defended their overall title in the 13th Penampang Under-12 Swimming Championship held at the Penampang Sports Complex Swimming pool from August 26-27.

They captured a total of 44 golds, 55 silvers and 33 bronzes, well ahead of second placed Labuan Aquatic Association who only managed 23 golds, 11 silvers and 17 bronzes, while in third place were PJMS Aquatic Swimming Club with 22 golds, 10 silvers and five bronzes.

PPSC also won three individual awards through Scott Lee Tsun An (boys 12), Audreyna Ho Fei Ying (girls 12) and Dayang Sari Abdullah (girls 10).

The other winners were Labuan Aquatic Association’s Ngok Shao Han Edward (boys 8) and Skye Teo Ye Xiang (boys 9), SSA Swimming Club’s Thien Siew Yee (girls 8) and Natalia Gracey Jacklee (girls 11), Blue Marlin Swimming Club’s Adawiyah Fatnin Anthony (girls 9), PJMS Aquatic Swimming Club’s Jeremy Ng Chong Wei (boys 10) and Jeff Lo Wei Zhe (boys 11).
