KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Solidariti Tanah Airku (Star) said it is vital to have well-developed infrastructure like road, public transport, water and electricity supply, among others, for tourism to be a success.
Its Tanjung Aru Division Chief Hiew Choon Yu said Star was delighted to learn that Sabah registered 1.4 million visitor arrivals (international and domestic) between January and July this year.
“Unfortunately, our tourism infrastructure falls short of expectations”.
