Sacred Soul Cambridge School, Road village, Nurpur, organised a CBSE in-house teachers’ training workshop on ‘Life Skills (Basic)’. The workshop commenced with the worship of Maa Saraswati. The training programme was conducted by eminent academician and CBSE resource person Dr Rajeev Singh Niryal. He explained in detail the various dimensions of life skills, effective communication, emotional balance, decision-making, problem-solving, self-awareness and the role of life skills in the overall development of students. During the workshop, teachers actively participated in various activities, group discussions and hands-on sessions. The resource person highlighted the need for life skill-based teaching in modern education and offered useful suggestions for students’ personality development. President of the school Dr Jagdish Singh, in his motivational address, emphasised the importance of life skills and encouraged all participants towards continuous self-development. Principal of the school Suresh Kumar expressed his happiness over the successful conduct of the training programme and stated that such workshops are highly beneficial for the professional development of teachers as well as for imparting quality education to students.
