MANILA, Philippines — The UST Golden Tigresses defended their lair as they devoured the UE Lady Warriors, 25-11, 25-14, 25-14, in the UAAP Season 88 women's volleyball tournament at the UST Quadricentennial Pavillion Saturday.
Angge Poyos fired 11 points to lead the Tigresses in their first home game and to a second straight win.
Jonna Perdido added 10 points for UST which elevated to 2-2, good for fifth place in the standings.
Khy Cepada racked up nine points to pace the cellar-dwelling Lady Warriors, who stayed winless at 0-4.
