Jasmin Kaur, a student of Guru Amar Dass Adarsh Institute, Goindwal Sahib, brought laurels to her school and parents by securing third position at the Open State Karate Championship 2026 (under-13 category), organised by the Punjab Shotokan Karate Organisation in Amritsar.
Amid tough competition, Class VIII student Jasmin Kaur, daughter of Karnail Singh, secured third position through her hard work and under the guidance of her coach Gurpreet Rozi. She was awarded a trophy, medal and certificate for her achievement.
School Director Dr Jatinderpal Singh Randhawa congratulated Jasmin and said that such achievements are a matter of pride for the institution. He added that success in sports, along with academics, reflects the all-round development of students.
