MANILA, Philippines — Alyssa Valdez delivered an all-around performance as the Creamline Cool Smashers wrapped up their 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) On Tour campaign with a 25-21, 25-16, 25-21 victory over the Galeries Tower Highrisers on Saturday night at the Victoria City Coliseum in Negros Occidental.
Valdez paced Creamline with 10 points, highlighted by eight attacks, one block, and an ace, as the Cool Smashers completed the pre-season tournament with an unbeaten 2-0 record.
Jaja Santiago also made a notable return to the PVL, contributing six points in her first game back in the league.
Santiago and Valdez previously played together during their national team stint at the 2022 Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam. The pair also shared the court under PLDT in the Shakey’s V-League in 2015.
For Galeries Tower, Jean Asis led the team with nine points, but no Highrisers player reached double figures.
Galeries Tower finished the tournament with a 1-2 win-loss record.
