SHAH ALAM – Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate Ustaz Sufian has claimed a comfortable victory in the N.16 Seri Menanti state seat following the 16th Negeri Sembilan State Election today.

Official results released by the Election Commission (EC) showed that Ustaz Sufian secured the seat with a commanding majority of 4,323 votes.

He garnered 5,858 votes to defeat his two challengers in a three-cornered contest.

Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate Kamarul Arifin Wafa came in second place, securing 1,535 votes.

Meanwhile, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) candidate Dato' Seri Megat finished third after receiving 363 votes.
