AFTER losing on opening day, Creamline immediately recovered its bearing and strung up four straight wins in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference.

On Saturday, the 10-time league champion will try to extend its win streak to five when it battles Nxled at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City.

Game time is 4 p.m.

After bowing to PLDT at the start of the tournament, Creamline scored victories against Choco Mucho, ZUS Coffee, Capital1 and Galeries Tower.

Fueling this run is Jia de Guzman’s league-leading performance.

The eight-time PVL Best Setter is averaging 5.61 excellent sets per set and tallied 530 still sets and 101 running sets this season.

In a four-set win against Galeries Tower, de Guzman finished with 22 excellent sets, allowing four Cool Smashers to score in double digits.

Tots Carlos led the scoring with 19 points even as Bernadeth Pons, Jema Galanza, and Pangs Panaga, added 15, 12, and 11 points, respectively.

“Exactly, I think the team’s rhythm is becoming really good regardless of who is on the court. We trust in coach’s system, and we’re doing our job. Whatever tasks are given to us, we do them,” said Carlos, who was named Player of the Game against the Highrisers.

“As you can see, we’re rotating players frequently, and we know that everyone can do the job, so we’re happy with the team's performance," she added.

The Cool Smashers, however, need to bring their A-game against the Chameleons, who aim to snap a three-game losing skid.

The Chameleons opened the conference with three straight wins led by three-time Most Valuable Player Brooke Van Sickle, two-time Finals MVP MJ Phillips and Myla Pablo leading the charge.

However, the Ettore Guidetti-mentored squad suffered three straight losses against Galeries Tower, Akari and Choco Mucho.

Nxled needs to snap out from the slump for it to finish the elims in the upper half of the standings.

In the 6:30 p.m. game, rejuvenated teams Akari (2-3) and Capital 1 (3-3) collide.
