Improved weather over much of Luzon — Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — An improved weather condition should be expected across Luzon except for Zambales, Bataan and Occidental Mindoro, which will continue to experience occasional rains due to the southwest monsoon or Habagat, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, Metro Manila. Pangasinan, Benguet, Tarlac, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Romblon, Bulacan, Mainduque, Oriental Mindoro, Camarines Norte and Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon) may, however, experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon.

The rest of Luzon can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms, while the rest of the country should expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

Maximum temperature will be at 29.5 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Peilou remains outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, located 3,355 kilometers east of extreme Northern Luzon, with maximum sustained winds of 85 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 105 kph.
