MANILA, Philippines — The Nxled Chameleons broke out from a four-game slump after prevailing over the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles, 25-20, 15-25, 25-23, 25-19, in the preliminary round of the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference on Thursday night at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City.

The Chameleons were led by Brooke Van Sickle, who made a triple-double performance of 20 points, 12 excellent receptions and 10 excellent digs.

“You know, just staying positive. I think the team has been doing a fantastic job, and the same goes for our coaching staff. We're just staying positive and staying optimistic and hungry every single day we step in the gym,” Van Sickle said during the post-game presser.

Jonah Sabete made 19 points, while MJ Phillips added 12 points to allow the Chameleons to end their dry spell and improve to a 4-4 win-loss record.

ZUS was led by Thea Gagate’s 16-point outing and Cloanne Mondonedo’s 13-point scoring.

The Thunderbelles fell to a 1-7 slate.
