
The men’s and women’s teams of University of Perpetual Help System Dalta have the twice-to-beat edge over their respective opponents in the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Season 101 volleyball tournament.
The Altas Spikers (10-3) and the Lady Altas (11-2), who both claimed the top spot in the group stage, aim to take advantage of their incentive by finishing their quarterfinal assignments right on the first game on Sunday at the San Andres Sport Complex in Malate, Manila.
The Altas will take on the Letran Knights at 9 a.m. while the Lady Altas collide with the Emilio Aguinaldo College Lady Generals at 12 noon.
The Lady Generals are fresh from their play-in victory against Jose Rizal University, 25-23, 25-16, 26-24, to advance.
In today’s other games, defending men’s champion Arellano University will also have the twice-to-beat edge against San Sebastian College in their 5 p.m. game.
Letran and San Sebastian will also collide in the women’s side at 3 p.m.
