Germany left back Nathaniel Brown is having a medical with Bayern Munich on Thursday ahead of his move from Eintracht Frankfurt, the Bild newspaper reported.
The 23-year-old, a rare bright spot in Germany's early World Cup exit, is expected to sign until 2031 in a deal media have speculated will cost the German double winners €55 million ($63 million).
Bayern want a new left back because Raphaël Guerreiro left and Alphonso Davies is injury-prone.
Vincent Kompany's side already agreed a deal with PSV Eindhoven for Morocco World Cup star Ismael Saibari on Wednesday.
