As per the directions of the Haryana State Legal Services Authority, Panchkula, Dr Renu Solkhe, Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Rewari, inspected the local Child Care Institution and Specialised Adoption Agency on Tuesday.
During the inspection, Solkhe interacted with the children residing at the institution and reviewed the facilities, living conditions, nutrition, education and healthcare arrangements. She also examined records related to the children, staff attendance and rehabilitation work.
She directed the institution staff to ensure a child-friendly environment, quality education and proper counselling for the overall development of the children.
Special emphasis was laid on compliance with the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, and the timely completion of legal formalities in adoption cases.
The CJM reiterated that DLSA Rewari remains committed to protecting the rights and welfare of children in need of care and protection.
