Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s caseload dipped to 127 on Sunday from 160 the day earlier, due to a lower number of test samples and decreased positivity rate.

Sabah’s Covid-19 Spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said there were 1,498 samples with a positivity rate of 9.61 per cent on Sunday, compared to 1,595 samples and a positivity rate of 10.72 per cent on Saturday.

Kota Kinabalu topped the list with 64 cases, followed by Sandakan (13), Tawau (11), Tuaran (10) and Kudat (6).

“Fifteen districts did not record any new infections. Out of 12 districts that recorded new cases, only four recorded double-digit figures,” said Masidi in a statement, Sunday.

He said 126 out of 127 cases were category one and two infections, while one case was recorded in category three.

No deaths or new clusters were identified.
