THE Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that both storms “Francisco” and “Gardo” have left the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
In the first bulletin at 11 p.m. on Thursday, Pagasa said “Francisco” had maximum sustained winds of 95 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 115 kph.
“Francisco has exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and will continue moving generally northeastward towards Ryukyu Islands and sea south of mainland Japan throughout the forecast period,” the weather bureau said.
In its 11 a.m. bulletin on Friday, the Pagasa said that “Gardo” left the PAR at 9:30 a.m., with maximum sustained winds of 95 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 115 kph.
Gardo, now a severe tropical storm, was last spotted 1,310 km east-northeast of Extreme Northern Luzon.

“Gardo has exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) at 9:30 a.m. [on Friday]. It is forecast to move north northeastward and maintain its strength for the next 12 hours as it moves towards southern Japan,” the weather bureau said.
The country, however, will continue to have rainy weather because of the southwest monsoon, Pagasa said.
