MANILA, Philippines — Royse Tubino once put up a fight for the Choco Mucho Flying Titans — but this time she helped the Farm Fresh Foxies to take them down.
Tubino scored 14 points for Farm Fresh against Choco Mucho in a grueling five-set match, 21-25, 25-22, 16-25, 25-18, 15-9, in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference on Tuesday night at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City.
“I am happy for my teammates, I am happy for us, we really worked hard for this win, and we really sacrificed every day. This win is a team effort, and previously we always fell short, and finally we got it right,” Tubino said after snapping their two-game losing skid.
The former Flying Titan gunner also shared that she kept her focus despite facing the crowd-favorite Flying Titans.
“Focus. I just focused on myself this time. We all know that Choco Mucho is a tough team to face and I said to myself to just enjoy the match, and just do what we trained,” she added.
Farm Fresh was led by Trisha Tubu, who mounted 22 points on 16 attacks and six blocks, while Ces Moilina made a triple-double of 17 points, 13 excellent receptions, and 13 excellent digs.
Riri Meneses joined the double-digit mark for the Foxies after adding 10 markers.
