
SEREMBAN - Barisan Nasional (BN) has secured a resounding victory in the Lenggeng state seat in the Negeri Sembilan state election, defeating its nearest rival by a majority of 9,994 votes.
BN candidate Hj Asna garnered 15,960 votes, comfortably ahead of Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate Hajah Zarinna, who received 5,966 votes.
Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) candidate Zool Amali Hussin finished a distant third with 349 votes.
The decisive result sees BN retain a firm hold on the constituency with one of the largest victory margins recorded in the election.
