SEREMBAN - Pakatan Harapan (PH) has successfully defended the Temiang state seat in the Negeri Sembilan state election, securing victory with a majority of 1,883 votes on August 1.
Official results showed PH candidate Ho Weng Wah garnered 5,249 votes, defeating Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate Leaw Kok Chan, who obtained 3,366 votes.
Bersatu candidate Fazly Hamid finished third with 514 votes.
The result gives PH another seat in the 16th Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly, with Ho maintaining the coalition's hold on the constituency.
