Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s Covid-19 caseload continued to climb to 230 on Thursday from 219 the day earlier, due an increased positivity rate.
Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said although the number of test samples were lower on Thursday (2,164) compared to Wednesday (2,495), infections still increased as the positivity rate rose from 9.26 per cent to 11.04 per cent.
He said Kota Kinabalu topped the list with 128 cases, followed by Tawau (17), Tuaran (12), Papar (9), Sandakan (9), Penampang (8) and Kudat (7).
“Eight districts did not record any new infections,” said Masidi , Thursday.
He said 228 out of 230 cases were category one and two infections, while one case was each recorded in category four and five.
No deaths or new clusters were identified.
