
MANILA, Philippines — Several areas in Manila were flooded on Monday due to intermittent torrential rain, the city's Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department said.
Gutter-deep flooding was reported at Taft Avenue, Taft NBI parking area, the Quirino Station walkway and Padre Faura to United Nations Station.
As of 8:35 a.m., the department's CCTV monitoring showed flooding at the Pedro Gil walkway.
The city’s Department of Engineering and Public Works reported gutter-deep flooding along Roxas Boulevard Service Road corner Arquiza Street, T.M. Kalaw Street and Taft Avenue corner Finance Road. Ankle-deep flooding was recorded along Flores Street.
